Sandy's family change their mind, and they decide to stay in USA. Sandy is going to study to Rydell Institute.
Sandy is a traditional girl. She does not smoke, does not drink, her clothes are traditional, etc. She is the opposite to Danny. He is a hard guy and he is group friends leader (The Thunder Birds).

During all course the relations between both are bad. They are completely different people.
One day, the boys celebrate a car race. Danny wins it and goes with his friends to celebrate the triumph. Sandy is fallen in love of Danny, so she decides to change her image, and with the help of her friends she changes: she smokes a cigarrete and wears black heather jacket, high heel, curly hair. When Danny sees her, he falls in love. Both are together again.
The film finishes like begins: singing and dancing. All is good.
